questions M4A785TD-M EVO
Hello, hope you are all doing great.
I just bought a M4A785TD-M EVO motherboard and I have a couple of questions regarding fan control. The motherboard has one CPU FAN connector (4-pin) where the bios can control the CPU fan by means of PWM. It also has 2 additional fan connectors (1 CHASSIS FAN and 1 POWER FAN) but those are 3-pin connectors. 1) Can the motherboard Q-Fan control these fans by means of voltage regulation? 2) will Q-fan sense the motherboard temperature to try to adjust these fans, or Q-fan works only for the CPU? 3) I have a power supply with it's own temperature controlled fan. Can I connect teh POWER FAN connector to another chassis fan? This way I can have the motherboard controlling (or at least reading) the intake chassis fan and also the exhaust chassis fan. Many thanks! Gonza |
